Thank you for taking the big step to come to this room. Because I know very well from personal experience how cold it can be where you are, I lit the fireplace and put down a hot cup of chocolate milk, tea and coffee for you. Feel free to choose something. Sit down and catch up. You have had a long journey.

I am not a life-saving miracle or a replacement for a good therapist, but I am there for you as a person and fellow sufferer.

To get straight to the point. I'm not here to save your life or because I think I know everything. If I said that I wouldn't take you seriously. And that's the last thing I want. Because I understand very well that you want to die. I know where you stand. And you have the right to want to die and also to die. Your life is yours.

Do you mind if I sit next to you for a moment? Please indicate the distance. I want you to know that you are not alone, even though it often feels that way. If you don't want that, feel free to put me where you want or make me invisible. You can see me as a butterfly, if you like. But also as a human being, if you dare. Everything is actually good. Here in this house you are the boss and you can make and decorate everything however you want. Are you starting to see it already?

Do you have the suicide drugs in or at hand now? Then see if there is someone in your area you can talk to. You do not have to be ashamed. And if there is no one you can talk to, go to this 113 emergency service link now and call the helpline or chatline. These people are there for the purpose of listening to you and taking you seriously. Or call your doctor. Seek professional help and let them help you with that.
